• Provide all cleaning agents, equipment, and protective supplies. • Use environmentally friendly and non-damaging cleaning products where possible. • Ensure staff are trained, uniformed, and background checked. • Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards. • Coordinate scheduling to minimize disruption to county operations. • The County may request both scheduled periodic cleaning (monthly, quarterly, or annual) and as-needed cleaning services. Extreme care shall be exercised to prevent hitting or otherwise damaging walls, baseboards, and furnishings. The Contractor shall move furniture to clean the floor area. Note: This excludes built-ins, desks and electronics. B. The selected vendor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform cleaning services, which may include but are not limited to: Carpeted Flooring o Prepare floors by vacuuming and spot treatment for high-volume areas. o Steam clean, involving an application of a cleaning agent. o Carpet cleaning should meet or exceed IICRC current standards. Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT), Ceramic Tile, and Grout o Remove soil and floor finish using cleaning solution and power scrubber. o Stripping, waxing, buffing, and resealing. o At least four (4) thin or appropriate even coat(s) of floor finish is applied to the floor. o Finish or refinished floors shall present a uniform shine and shall not have buildups or finish along edges or in corners.
