The renovation of the City of Venice Council Chambers is a level 2 alteration of approximately 3,390 square feet. The intent for the renovation is to provide security enhancements, updated technology systems, and a comprehensive layout for the dais. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to complete all work identified on the Contract Documents and Specifications. The Contractor shall comply with all Municipal, County, State, Federal and any additional applicable codes related to the proposed construction work. The work described below shall include, but not be limited to: (1) The demolition of select walls and doors, storefront system(s), millwork, electrical/lighting, and finishes, (2) Patch, repair and paint where demolition is occurring, (3) CMU block infill walls with reinforcing steel, ties, and grouted solid per the structural drawings, (4) Stucco and sealants to provide a complete weathertight envelope, (5) Storefront system(s) per the specifications and as identified in the architectural drawings, (6) Interior non-load bearing partitions, doors and ceilings, (7) Access Control card readers, (8) Wood-framed platform(s), (9) Custom millwork including ballistic resistant panels at the dais, (10) Hearing loop installation, (11) Auditorium seating, non-fixed tables and chairs, (12) AV Equipment as outlined in specification sheet, and (14) Electrical and lighting as noted in the electrical drawings.
