Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. File for and receive a permit from the Volusia County Health Department for this pool resurfacing project. Complete any permit punch-list items before beginning this project. 2. Provide non-invasive leak detection and repair for all related pool system plumbing lines, concrete shell, pool lights, drains and surge tanks. Submit leak detection and repair scope-of-work to City of Daytona Beach Technical Service’s Division that lists the means and methods to be used prior to resurfacing. 3. Remove pool ladders, lights, railings, ropes, floats, cap blocks and any broken tile and check for leaks, chips and cracks in pool shell. (Existing fountain water features to be removed by the City of Daytona Beach). 4. Provide cleaning and clearing of all foreign debris at all deck and gutter drain locations to ensure positive flow. Perform leak pressure testing at each drain line prior to reinstallation and pool resurfacing. 5. Prepare a Dewatering Groundwater Control Plan for the pool and submit to the City’s Technical Services Department for approval.
