Specifications include, but are not limited to: soliciting an internet connected browser-based cloud-hosted digital 3D Model Viewing application. This application is intended to be a standard view tool for digital CADD models on design production projects with data ranging from CADD files, raster image files, office automation documents, and other electronic media; some with anticipated large file sizes (i.e., point cloud files).; The vendor is to provide a system with core functionality needed to assist designers, engineers, and project managers in the organization, management the ability to view project design data, documentation, revisions, communications, and other developmental practices related to transportation system project development.; The application will be accessed on FDOT owned hardware. The application is anticipated to be a cloud-hosted application via internet installed on Windows-based workstations, laptops, tablets, and other similar devices. Access control to project data shall be granted by project administrators.; Project data cloud hosting alternatives may be either by the vendor, a third party, or FDOT. The most cost-effective solution resulting in the least impact on FDOT IT resources shall be proposed and provided. The cost of server provisioning, if FDOT hosted, will be factored in the evaluation of which solution fits best. The vendor will propose which architecture they believe provides the FDOT the highest and best value and meets the coverage needed by the anticipated user base. Provide specific information about the reliability of the intended location of the application servers, database servers, and data file storage servers. Beyond providing a software application, and assistance with implementation and training, the FDOT requires a contract staff position (a resident consultant) to augment FDOT staff in both implementing, training, and supporting the system.
