Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Train-the-Facilitator. Train a group of 8-12 UF staff to serve as Continuous Improvement facilitators on the UF campus. The staff being trained will be identified by UF’s Continuous Improvement Office housed within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. The awarded supplier will provide all materials and facilitate hands-on training for UF staff. Training should allow trainees to practice and become adept at using the selected continuous improvement tools and methodologies through relevant case studies. b) Train-the-Trainer. Train 3-4 UF staff (already familiar with CI/BPI) to serve as trainers for an “Introduction to Continuous Improvement” course developed by the supplier, with UF input. This course is intended to raise awareness with general campus audiences about the various business process improvement methodologies and related tools. The supplier will develop and deploy customized class content using the train-the-trainer method to ensure the training creates a consistent UF message.
