Specifications include, but are not limited to: Station 64 – The project will require the demolition of the existing building, Fire Station 64 (500 Ramblewood Drive). The project will include the design of a new, single story fire station of approximately 8,000 square feet and all site work. The structure may include 3 bays, 8 bunkrooms, 3 unisex bathrooms, an exercise room, 2 offices, alarm room, day room, commercial kitchen, dining area, storage space, laundry facilities, backup power (with redundant plug). The station will be designed in coordination with the Coral Springs Fire Department Construction Group. The station is planned to be built approximately 1000 feet North of the current structure. Once the new structure is complete and operational the existing station is to be demolished and restored as part of the adjoining park (Kiwanis Park). The City of Coral Springs recently built two fire stations, station 43 and 95, it is our intent to substantially match the design for the two before mentioned stations.
