06-18 - Solar Panels

The Santa Rosa County School District is accepting quotes for an installed photovoltaic solar panel system equivalent to a 4.64 kW Grid Tied Solar PV System.  The vendor shall provide complete system design, professioanl engineering and electrical drawings as required for permitting.  The installed PV system will meet or exceed the standards as set forth by the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC) and as required by both the Electric Utility and the local Building Department.  The vendor shall acquire all permits. The vendor shall obtain a professional engineer's approval for the structural instalation where necessary.  The vendor shall submit the required application for interconnection agreement with the Electric Utitlity.  The vendor shall complete the system startup and commissioning.  Installation of all components shall be in accordance with NEC, solar prescriptive methods, and applicable building codes.  All materials shall be new, in compliance with all applicable laws and codes, and shall be covered by a manufacturer's warranty if appropriate.  At the end of each day's work, contractor agrees to clean all debris from the work area and leave all appliances and facilities ingood working order.  Vendor must be a Certified Solar Contractor with the State of Florida.
