The School District of Okaloosa County is accepting bid proposals for Contractor Services, as need arises, to provide all labor, material and equipment required to remediate Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) issues such as mold and bacteria removal from ceiling, wall, insulation, sheetrock, masonry, floor, and furniture surfaces. The purpose of this bid is to establish pricing on a square footage basis. A primary and a secondary bidder shall be awarded. The Bidder shall be qualified and insured and must hold current and active licensure to conduct work as a Mold Remediator, having a Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DPBR) MRSR license. A Certified or Registered General or Building Contractor may submit a bid, but if awarded the contract, must subcontract to a Contractor who holds the MRSR license to do the work.
