Summary of Specifications:
The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms to design and obtain all permits necessary to construct sidewalks along one side of Joan Avenue from North Lagoon Drive to Front Beach Road, along both sides of Frankford Avenue from 16th Street to 23rd Street, and along both sides of Star Avenue from Cherry Street to State Road 22. These three sidewalks constitute three separate projects funded by three separate LAP grants. The scope of work includes sidewalk design and minor drainage design to handle the runoff from new impervious surfaces. The design firm is to develop a set of construction plans for each project that is in general accordance, to the maximum extent possible, and develop any supplemental specifications required for the project, with: a) FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and the b) Manual of Uniform Minimum Standards for Design, Construction, maintenance and Utility Operation on the State Highway System (Commonly known as the “Florida Greenbook”).
