Summary of Specifications:
Bids for this solicitation will only be accepted electronically online through Bid Express until 2:00 p.m., local time, on the bid date. The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors for the rehabilitation of Resota Beach Road and the resurfacing of McKenzie Avenue. The project includes rehabilitation of Resota Beach Road from Sherretts Branch Bridge extending north approximately 9800 feet to Hitchcock Road. The project will consist of earthwork operations, lining of existing cross drains, full depth mixing of existing pavement/base/subgrade, paving, and stabilization of all disturbed areas. The project also includes resurfacing of McKenzie Avenue from 3rd Court extending north approximately 510 feet to E. 4th Street. The project will consist of milling operations, the addition of a roundabout center island and the associated striping at the intersection of McKenzie Avenue and 3rd Court, paving, and the relocation of a pedestrian crosswalk to include installation of sidewalk curb ramps.
