The U.S. Department of State, Office of the Procurement Executive, Office of Acquisition Management on behalf of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations, has a requirement for Design-Build Construction Services for project development, design, and construction services for a New Embassy Compound in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
The project scope includes the design/build construction of the following:
- Site/Compound Development (CMPD)
- New Office Building (NOB)
- Main Compound Access Control (MCAC)
- Consular Compound Access Control (CCAC)
- Service Compound Access Control (SCAC)
- Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR)
- Support Annex/Warehouse (SPX/WHE)
- Utility Building (UTL)
- Pool and Cabana (Optional)
To demonstrate performance of similar construction work for Omnibus Diplomatic Security and Antiterrorism Act of 1986 purposes, the offeror needs to provide information demonstrating that it has successfully completed in the United States or at a U.S. diplomatic or consular mission, no less than two (2) Design/Build Construction project examples from the last ten (10) years involving work of similar in size, scope, and complexity as the solicited project and having an initial construction award amount (value) of no less than $150,000,000.00 ($150M). The value of the construction contract offered to demonstrate performance will not be adjusted for inflation, currency fluctuation, or any other market forces. Projects may be substantially complete or completed within the past ten (10) years.
