Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking proposals to assist WMATA in execution of WMATA’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Replacement project. This project will operate in 2 phases. The selected vendor will support WMATA in both phases of the project. Phase one of the project will include: Phase 1 – Software Platform Selection and Acquisition – This includes assessing WMATA‘s current state, defining WMATA to be requirements, documenting the WMATA Business Process changes to support the to-be requirements, creating a software platform evaluation matrix, conducting software platform evaluations and demonstrations of ERP solutions, providing a software evaluation report, providing an implementation plan, Creating an RFP for selecting an ERP implementation vendor(s) to implement the selected platform, and preparing procurement document(s) for software licensing acquisition. Phase 2 – Project monitoring and independent validation and verification of the selected software to be implemented. The vendor will provide project monitoring and advice, review project deliverables, and provide feedback and conduct independent testing of the software being implemented. The vendor will also support WMATA in their testing efforts.
