Specifications include, but are not limited to: The expansion of the Immunization Information System (IIS) functionality to accommodate AFIX (Assessment, Feedback, Incentives, and eXchange) Program needs are completed. The Immunization Program requires that all active Vaccines for Children (VFC) providers receive training and education on specific reports so they can perform AFIX program requirements before an actual AFIX visit is performed by the Immunization Program. All components listed in this section are mandatory. 1) Conduct needs assessment to identify training needs for Vaccines for Children (VFC) Providers on specific AFIX (Assessment, Feedback, Incentives, and eXchange) Program reports. 2) Develop training material(Quick Reference Guide, Training Script, Presentation) 3) Update training curriculum and training plan using multiple methods for training (i.e. via webinar, site visits). 4) Train VFC providers on how to utilize the Immunization Information System (IIS) to assist them to improve their immunization coverage rates. 5) Provide feedback and follow up to ensure education is enforced.
