Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Delaware receives donated ground beef. This purpose of this contract is to contract with processor(s) for processing of the ground beef and delivery of end products to eligible recipient agencies through the State of Delaware, Government Support Services, Food Distribution Section in compliance with Federal Regulations, Title 7, Subtitle C, Chapter II, Subchapter B, Part 250.30 State Processing of Donated Food. Award of the contract to processor(s) does not guarantee delivery of donated food for processing. All processing activities of donated foods shall be subject to review and audit by the Department, including the applicable Federal acceptance service. The contracting agency may also require acceptance and certification by such acceptance service in addition the requirements set forth in the Federal Regulations; A. Wafer Steaks (cooked): Regular, cooked, frozen; fat content must match that of the USDA donated frozen ground beef. Net weight per steak: 2 oz., 2.5 oz., 3.0 oz. Must meet IMPS. NO. 1136. No MSG, artificial flavorings and/or colorings may be used. Trans fat must be less than 0.5 gram per serving
