Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide pediatric and family practice providers access to an automated, online developmental screening assessment that is HL-7 and HIPAA/FERPA compliant. Additionally, the developmental screening tool should be parent-friendly and screen for the developmental health of children birth through age 8. Services should include: 1. Electronic administration of brief and user-friendly validated screening instrument which elicits parents’ concerns at each visit; monitors milestones at each visit and uses an autism- specific screen at 18 and 24 months such as the M-CHAT-R. 2. Results of screens that can be saved into electronic charts including: a. A record of parents’ responses and scored results b. A summary report of results to share with parents c. A referral letter when needed (to share with early interventionists and other providers) 3. Recommended diagnosis, billing and procedure codes to help optimize providers’ reimbursement. 4. The online service should have the capacity to house training and research materials such as audio-visuals, research updates, etc. for users’ reference. 5. A parent portal that is linked to physician clinics enabling parents to complete the assessments on their own from home or on a clinic computer/IPAD or kiosk. 6. Downloadable files of the screening test in multiple languages. 7. Informational guidance for various administration methods, i.e., completing tests by live interview and/or by typing in parents’ written responses from forms completed via paper-pencil, and receives results in real time. 8. A printable .pdf file for each provider explaining how to use the site, record usernames and passwords, information about what the screen results mean, etc. 9. An administration panel that: a. Enables providers and administrators to access screening results, correct any administration errors (e.g., incorrect birthday, delete duplicate records), and ability to add assessments to the patient record within 30 days (e.g., if the MCHAT is sent home with the family after an appointment). b. Offers a view of usage statistics and screening results for analysis, program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives on early detection. c. Accounts for each clinic in multi-site settings, along with a separate master account enabling a designated administrator to view all records across clinics. d. Enables an export of assessment results for each clinic using the online screener for use with EXCEL, SPSS or other reporting software. e. Storage, review, and validation of results in a secure manner, accessible only to licensed users and vendor’s employees involved in assessment management.
