Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract is to provide annual communication and leadership development training to DDOC employees. Proposals shall identify and thoroughly describe how the following requirements will be met. A. Training Goal – DDOC anticipates 700 employees will be enrolled annually in this training. B. Training Curriculum – Curriculum shall consist of leadership, supervisory management, communication, and employee performance with a focus on the Corrections environment. Proposals shall include a narrative description of the curriculum that includes past experience with delivering the proposed curriculum for other organizations of comparable size. Narrative shall include a summary of the improvements and results achieved. Curriculum shall be facilitated in group sessions not to exceed 8 hours. Group size will consist of approximately 35 participants. Proposals shall include a summary of the curriculum with topics to minimally include: Interpersonal communication skills Crisis management De-escalation techniques Crisis intervention Conflict management Policy and procedure usage Risk management C. Training Location – Training location will be provided by DDOC. Alternatively, proposals may include other locations within Delaware that have adequate space and suitable classroom environment. D. Training Equipment/Supplies – Equipment and Supplies shall be described and provided in the proposal. This may include participant handouts, study guides, literature, etc. that will be used to facilitate each group session. Proposals shall describe how any audio/visual equipment will be used to enhance participant learning. DDOC may provide limited use of such equipment if available.
