Vendor is responsible for all costs associated with picking up the existing cover, delivering it to the manufacturer of new pool cover to use as a template, and delivering the new cover to the William Besse Municipal Pool. The straps shall be fabricated so that they can be attached to the existing anchors. The preferred color of the cover is Green. ii. Vendor is responsible for checking all brass anchors in place at the pool and replacing any anchors that are in disrepair. iii. Vendor is responsible for all costs associated with fabricating a new cover in accordance with the dimensions in Appendix A. The new cover shall be a Standard Mesh Safety Cover made of polypropylene mesh with Stainless Steel Springs and D Rings to install into existing brass anchors. The new pool cover shall come with a 12-year warranty. A twelve (12) year warranty is preferred. Bidders are to detail their warranty in their bid proposal. iv. Vendor is responsible making all necessary arrangements for the disposal of the existing cover after used as a template to fabricate a new cover. v. Vendor is responsible for the arrangements for the return of the new cover and installing it at the pool for the first year. vi. Proposal shall include all shipping charges for both the existing pool cover and new pool cover. vii. See Pool Plan, attachment A for reference. Measurements are approximate. Contractor is responsible for field measurements. viii. Schedule for all work on city property shall be coordinated with and approved in advance by the City’s designated representative.
