Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pipe and pipe fitting insulation is assumed to exist in chases and behind walls, above ceilings, and any other inaccessible areas. The Contractor is responsible for selective demolition in areas of renovation in order to trace asbestos insulated pipe fittings for proper removal and disposal as ACM ; responsible for tracing all piping throughout the building renovation areas for abatement and to assure the piping has been included for removal within the work areas. ; 3. The white duct flex connector shall be removed intact and disposed as ACM. 4. Vent caulking shall be removed using wet methods for disposal as ACM. Includes multiple layers of caulking. 5. All layers of flooring including tiles, adhesives, underlayment, floor levelers, etc. shall be removed and disposed of as ACM. 6. Damp-proofing was assumed to exist behind the exterior brick veneer. Removal shall be limited to areas of proposed impact. Substrate shall be left in a stabilized/intact condition for other trades to resume work. 7. Glue daubs associated with the mirrors was assumed to be ACM. The mirror and associated glue (if present) shall be removed and disposed as ACM.
