Specifications include, but are not limited to: A vendor to provide answering services for the Department of Correction, Parole, halfway houses and Community Services Division. The service provider will furnish a dedicated line for incoming emergency calls and police matters. The established phone line shall be answered according to the Department of Correction guidelines and information shall be recorded and forward to the appropriate Parole and Community Services staff member (PCS). Answering service will be responsible for text messaging and or calling the appropriate Parole Officer or Supervisor as designated by the Director of Parole and Community Services. For police matters, the Department of Correction will provide an alphabetical listing of Connecticut towns and corresponding Parole Officers to text message or call.
