Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be done shall consist of the installation of bituminous concrete materials, milling and reclaiming operations in accordance with Connecticut Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads, Bridges and, Form 816, latest revision, all related sections. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, supplies, and other facilities and means necessary or proper to lay in place the materials and perform operations as described, and to include all handwork and curbing as necessary for the completion of pavement in place, shimming in place, milling, reclaiming, and all related work. Rough and final grading after reclaiming, to the satisfaction of the City of Danbury, is the responsibility of the contractor. A water truck must be used as necessary to control dust following reclaiming until paving is complete. Paving end of run cold joints must be cut square and prepared with emulsion prior to beginning the new run. Proper paving compaction and material application temperatures are a critical element to road life. It is the contractor’s responsibility to meet the standards referenced herein
