Specifications include, but are not limited to: The overall height of the completed apparatus shall not exceed One Hundred Thirty One (131) inches.; The overall length of the completed apparatus shall not exceed Six Hundred Seventy Two (672) inches.; Distribution of load between the front and rear axles shall be engineered so that all specified equipment, including a filled water tank, full complement of personnel and fire hose shall be carried without damage to the apparatus. Weight balance and distribution shall be in accordance with the recommendations of the National Fire Protection Association and current standard automotive practices.; All sensitive components shall be protected against adverse weather conditions. Any exposed metal surface which is not painted or otherwise coated shall have a bright finish. Corrosion protection shall be provided between any dissimilar metals joined in the construction of this apparatus.
