Specifications include, but are not limited to: All removals will require approval from the Town Tree Warden or his designee. All removals will require posting for ten days in accordance with State Statutes, unless the tree is deemed a hazard by the tree warden. The Town will not pay for travel time for scheduled removals, pruning or climbing crew work. Work requirements shall include the proper removal of any products resulting from the work performed. The Contractor will provide services to the Town on a routine basis for those trees termed “not hazards” within two weeks or less upon written or verbal notification. All removals will be done in accordance with best known arboricultural practices as defined by the National Arborists Association. All removals will be flush cut as close as possible to the ground unless otherwise noted by the Town.
