Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing unit cost prices for performing replacement of concrete curbs, sidewalks, and curb ramps as described in these project specifications. a. All forms used in the placement of concrete to create sidewalks and curbs shall be steel or aluminum. The typical thickness for new sidewalks shall be five inches. Forms shall be capable of meeting this requirement. Metal forms for curbing should be capable of creating a curb line that will have a minimum six-inch reveal with twelve inches below grade. b. Coat forms with a non-staining form release agent that will not discolor or deface the surface of the concrete. Clean forms for reuse immediately after use, and coat with form release agent as often as required to ensure separation from concrete without damage and facilitate a tool like finish. There will be no exceptions to this requirement.
