Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be performed by the Testing, Inspection, Preventative Maintenance and On-Call Fire Alarm Repairs and Emergency Services Contractor under these specifications shall consist of furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies and other expenses necessary to provide full Testing, Inspection, Preventative Maintenance as per NFPA 72 and other applicable codes. Work shall include every description, including but not limited to, inspections, adjustments, testing and replacement of parts for all fire alarm systems (Conventional/Addressable, etc…) and related equipment covered under this Contract and the preparation/furnishing of all certifications and reports as required. All inspection reports are to be delivered to the Facilities Director (both a hard copy and electronic copy). Email address to be provided after award. Related equipment shall include but not be limited to all area of refuge communication devices. b. The contract to include but not limited to the following Fire Extinguisher Ratings. • Class A — Used for paper, wood, cloth, or other common trash fires • Class B — Used for fires caused by petroleum, gasoline, oil, paint, propane and butane • Class C — Used for fires caused by active electrical devices, fuse boxes, wiring, computers, and electrical sources • Class K — Used for kitchen-based fires
