The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment for the rehabilitation of one (1) sanitary sewer pipe river crossing and will involve bypass pumping; river diversion; demolition and disposal of existing pipe and manholes; pipe and manhole installation; concrete encasement of the pipe; placement of riprap in the stream; restoration of disturbed areas; and miscellaneous improvements. Some materials (manholes and pipe) will be supplied by the Owner.

The Bidding Documents may be inspected at the Upper Thompson Sanitation District and Mott MacDonald offices.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty bond, or a certified or cashier's check payable to the order of the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid as a guaranty that the bidder will execute the contract, if awarded, in conformity with the Bid Form. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond on forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bond shall be in the amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract price.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, to readvertise for bids, or to withhold the award for any reason the Owner determines.
