Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Lyons will contract with an Environmental Consultant to provide planning, data collection, and reporting of environmental compliance for flood related projects. The Consultant must be well-versed in phase I investigation, must have experience working on FEMA related projects, and should have a thorough understanding of the impacts on the Town of Lyons from the 2013 flood. This contract will incorporate strategies outlined in the Town of Lyons Recovery Action Plan and Environmental Sustainability plan, both of which have goals for increased resiliency and sustainability, as well as other strategies. The Consultant will perform necessary interviews of Town staff to gather pertinent data on the various projects. Each project will be billed separately. Some projects requiring environmental analysis were completed as temporary emergency measures, while others are ongoing or yet to commence.
