Specifications include, but are not limited to: The rehabilitation of the Pikes Peak Parking Facility consists of 65-acre (314,600 square yard) asphalt and concrete pavement parking facility with bus and vehicle traffic loading (8215 linear foot of bus lanes, 8,950 parking spots and 17 bus stop islands with shelters). The lot has surpassed its 20-year design life cycle. This rehabilitation project will address the heavy surface cracking, heaving, pot holing, joint separation and sub surface damage. The restoration of the Pikes Peak Parking Facility will result in lower maintenance activities, reduced safety concerns, limited lot disruption/reduced closures, pleasant driving conditions and increased safe access that align with the ADA requirements.
