Specifications include, but are not limited to: The fellow’s administration of Pay for Success programs includes three pilot programs. These programs are focused on improving measurable outcomes for youth involved or at high risk of involvement in the child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems: 1. Jefferson County pilot program to improve educational outcomes for youth in foster care. 2. Multi-Systemic Therapy pilot program for underserved regions of Colorado. 3. Denver County pilot program to better serve runaway youth with evidence based in home services before they enter or reenter the child welfare and/or justice systems. Summary of fellow responsibilities include: • Work as the liaison between OCYF and the Office of Early Childhood to oversee the PFS pilot projects to ensure their smooth implementation. • Work with State and local stakeholders to pursue the feasibility of additional PFS or outcome-oriented projects in the early childhood domain. • Represent the State of Colorado at regularly scheduled oversight committee meetings with local providers, funders and evaluators to oversee the progress of the projects. • Coordinate project management, through and beyond project construction and launch, ensuring project deadlines are met; contracted deliverables are completed and coordinate procurement processes as needed. • Work with CDHS and State budget officials and with the legislature’s Joint Budget Committee (JBC) to ensure continued funding for projects. Construct financial models to estimate budgetary impacts and feasibility of additional PFS or other outcome-oriented projects. • Evaluation, research and data support working with project evaluators, service providers and data analysts to ensure continued smooth implementation of current PFS pilots as well as feasibility of launching additional projects. • Other relevant duties as assigned.
