Specifications include, but are not limited to: CDPHE, in an attempt to recruit and hire a diverse workforce that reflects the residents of the state of Colorado, is working to educate and train staff on promoting an inclusive workforce. The purpose of this Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Documented Quote (DQ) is to solicit responses for experienced facilitators to provide Inclusion Training at CDPHE. CDPHE is requesting two, four-hour Inclusion training tracks that focus on implicit bias, racial equity, and microaggressions. The purpose of these training events is to increase equitable outcomes for the workforce and the public served by the CDPHE. The training will be split into two tracks with one focused on front line staff as an introduction to inclusion, and the other on supervisors as an advanced course on inclusion. Line staff will need to receive training as it relates to “living the culture” of the department. Supervisors will receive training related to “creating an inclusive place as they interpret and implement the culture.” In addition to an introductory course and advanced inclusion course, CDPHE will need additional leadership training focused on topics as they occur within the department and at the request of the department (as needed). All leadership training will need to focus on policies and practices as the leaders “direct the culture” of the department.
