Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The provider must utilize an ASP messaging system with no on-premise equipment / specialized software (other than Internet Browser) and no additional phone lines required. 2. Notification services must be scalable and able to work with a college of 1,000 contacts or a college of 85,000 contacts, as well as system-wide with over 150,000 contacts. The system is able to reach non-affiliated recipients (e.g. community patrons, parents, media, etc.) The system must be compatible with Banner, including the interface/upload developed to allow students, faculty and staff within Self-Service Banner to update telephone numbers. The provider must be able to facilitate unattended, automated and secured contact data upload and update from Banner’s existing HR or other database system. The provider’s system must be able to automate nightly imports of data from Banner so as to regularly update the notification system and populate it with the most up-to-date data. The system must allow automatic creation of groups within the daily upload.
