Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS) is looking to select a contractor for removal of one double-wide modular building located on the Camp George West property. The building is currently located on the North / East corner of the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) Academy and attached to an existing building that will not be demolished. Removal of the modular buildings will affect some existing roofs and structure that must remain in place after the demo is complete. This project will consist of: 1. Disconnection of all utilities currently hooked up to this location (facilities will ensure that said utilities are shut off). Contractor shall be responsible for tag out procedure; 2. Protection of any structures noted during walk through to ensure no damage occurs and to support any existing structure attached to said building (Building 120) with a permanent system; 3. Removal of all equipment included in the existing buildings (HVAC units, electrical units, plumbing, drains); 4. Demolition of buildings in a safe manner to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and codes required by the State of Colorado and Federal codes and regulations; 5. Disposal of all materials through recycling and regular disposal methods. All parts of the buildings (walls, floors, concrete ramp, window, doors, roofing) must be completely removed from the construction site efficiently; 6. Cleaning all areas around the construction area completely of any debris, material, and trash; and 7. Repair of any landscaping, irrigation, asphalt, concrete or other materials damaged that are not part of the existing modular buildings back to their original conditions prior to beginning of project.
