Description

In 2012, the District started the project of installing Meraki Wireless Access Points (WAPs) in all facilities districtwide. Current coverage of these WAPs will expire in fall 2020. Over the last 8 years the District has installed approximately 6,300 WAPs. With the District’s adoption of a 1:1 initiative (every student has an electronic learning device), there is now a need to increase the wireless capacity to keep pace with bandwidth demand. The award to this BID will allow the District to refresh the current WAPs with Wi-Fi 6 Access Points.
