10 1617 - WWSD WWTP Improvements

The Work to be performed generally includes the following: Construction of new concrete cast-in-place
600,000 gallon anoxic zone with ancillary baffling and compressed air mixing system; replacement and
provision of new catwalks and handrailing around new and existing basins; provision and installation of
new submerged internal recycle pumps and associated piping; modifications to existing air lines to existing fine aeration system; provision and installation of new control gates; new concrete mortar unit (CMU) chemical building with storage tanks for caustic soda pH control, alum sulfate phosphorus control, and associated feed pumps and piping; provision of automated process monitoring equipment; provision and installation of sludge dewatering equipment inside an existing building with installation of associated rotary, lobe feed pumps etc.
