The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) is seeking “Best Value” Bids from experienced, qualified firms (Contractor) to furnish, deliver, and warranty a TYPE 6 WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING VEHICLE for the EPSO.

EPSO is seeking an TYPE 6 WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING VEHICLE. Minimum Standards*: The product must demonstrate that it meets or exceed the National Fire Protection Association 1906: Standard for Wildland Fire Apparatus The purpose is to standardize a new firefighting vehicle with the following standards:

Designed to meet and exceed federal agency specifications.
Agile and tough 4x4 chassis engineered provides extended durability for application in rough and rugged wildland terrain, with a minimum two (2) operating manuals.*
Type-6 pump with 50-gpm performance with custom pump and valve options.*
300-gallon water tank.*
Foam system with 17-gallon foam tank.*
Hose reel options to expand wildland attack performance.*
* Bidders should list all standard equipment and also provide options/upgrades with prices listed.
