Piggyback Contract

Description

Contractor shall travel to, perform, and complete certification paperwork for Pressure Vessel Inspections, which consist of 10 Air Chamber and 2 compressors. The inspections must meet the following criteria:

The current ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
The Current National Board Inspection Code, ANSI/NB 23
The Current codes and regulations of the State of Colorado
Ultrasonic Testing

Inspections shall be performed by qualified personnel meeting Federal or State certification requirements or by personnel satisfying the “Owner-User-Inspector” education and experience requirement of the National Board Inspection Code, issued by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. A copy of the inspector’s certification shall be provided and included as part of the inspection reports.

Contractor shall perform pressure vessel inspections and certification at pumping plants #1 through #5 at Pueblo, Pueblo West, Fountain, Ft. Carson and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Referenced standards can be found in FIST Volume 2-9.
