El Paso County is interested in establishing on-call service contracts with professional, qualified, experienced firms to provide Forestry and Tree Maintenance Services to the County. The El Paso County Parks Division manages 8,000 acres of diverse parkland and open space, 125 miles of trails, and 15 County facility landscapes. Due to the diverse ecosystems that range from prairie grasslands to sub-alpine forest, quantifying forestry and tree maintenance services is a challenge.
