RFP-KV-147787 - Northern Monument Creek Interceptor - CM/GC Services

Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking an experienced and qualified contractor to provide Construction Manager General Contractor (CM/GC) design participation and pre-construction and construction phase services for the construction and delivery of the North Monument Creek Interceptor Project (NMCI).
 
The NMCI consists of two phases.  Phase I is a developer driven project located on the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) property near Northgate Boulevard in El Paso County Colorado.  The intent of Phase I is to provide sanitary sewer service for future development of the True North Commons, which consists of a new USAFA Visitor’s center, lodging, and retail shops.  Phase I consists of extending the existing Monument Creek Interceptor approximately eight (8) miles.  The project’s 30% design is being completed with the intent of having a fully operational interceptor pipeline that will provide sanitary sewer service to True North Commons Development by August of 2020.
 
Phase II of the NMCI is a continuance of Phase I that will extend the NMCI approximately two (2) miles from the northern boundary of the USAFA to the Town of Monument, Colorado.  The intent of Phase II is to connect to several sanitary sewer service entities served by the Tri-Lakes Joint Use Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Upper Monument Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant with the goal of being fully operational by December 2020.
