Description

The City of Longmont has begun a project to remodel the City Council Chambers located at 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501.

As a component of this remodel, the network data wiring infrastructure needs to be modified to meet the future needs of this space.

In addition to the services performed for the City Council Chambers, the awarded contractor may be used for future network data wiring services in other areas of the City on an on-call, as-needed basis.

The City will award a single contract for the City Council Chambers project. More than one contractor may be awarded for the on-call services if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

The City will host an optional Site Visit on February 19, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Civic Center – City Council Chambers, 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501. Each participant, on behalf of his/her company, assumes all risk for his/her participation and releases the City of Longmont and its officers, employees, and agents from any liability for any injury, death, loss, damage, or expense to the participant or his/her company from any such risk. This release will in no way waive or replace the City’s right to governmental immunity in accordance with Colorado law.

The City will evaluate each contractor submitting a quote based upon the responsibility and responsiveness to the requirements of this RFQ. Award for the Council Chambers will be made to the responsible, responsive contractor quoting the lowest price. Award for the on-call services may be made to more than one responsible, responsive contractor.
