The Project consists of the following:
Morning Drive Pump Station:
1. Furnishing and installing three (3) new vertical multistage centrifugal pumps.
2. Furnish and installing new suction piping, valves and appurtenances.
3. Furnishing and installing new discharge piping, valves and appurtenances.
4. Modifications to existing piping.
5. Furnishing, installing, and modifying electrical equipment and instrumentation and
controls including, but not limited to, motors, variable frequency drives, PLC and
MCCs.
6. Miscellaneous electrical and demolition work.
Namaqua Hills Pump Station
1. Furnish and installing new suction piping and isolation valve.
2. Miscellaneous improvements to the buried concrete storage tank including a new
access hath, penetration grouting, piping removal and a new fire department
connection.
Raw Water Bypass
1. Furnishing and installing new piping and appurtenances inside existing vault to
bypass the existing strainer.
2. Furnishing and installing buried piping, fittings, outlet structure, and corresponding
site work for new bypass discharge.
