Description

The project includes the removal of existing and reapplication of exterior coatings on metallic water
pipes within the City of Loveland’s water distribution system and water treatment plant. This work will
consist of repair and recoating of corrosion on steel structures and piping. At four of the locations piping will need to be blasted and recoated. One location consists of repair of corrosion on the interior of an elevated water storage tank. The work on the elevated storage tank consists of small patching to the steel tank, puddle welding of corrosion spots, and repairs to the existing coating system. Work in several of these areas will be need to be completed working around live equipment such as pumps, and other pipe that will be actively conveying water to provide the City’s customers with water.

The City of Loveland, Colorado will receive sealed bids for Miscellaneous Pipe Coating And Tank
Repair 2019, Project No. W1901B. Bids must be received by the City Clerk’s Office, Loveland Civic
Center, 500 East Third Street, Suite 230, Loveland, CO 80537 on or before 2:00 p.m. on 12/19/2019.
The City Clerk’s Office will receive, date, and time stamp all bids. No bids will be considered which have not been received by the deadline set forth above, as determined by the Purchasing Division. The City is not responsible for delays occasioned by the U.S. Postal Service, the City’s internal mail delivery system, or any other means of delivery employed by the bidder.
