19034 - Mental Health Services

The State of Colorado Judicial Department, by and through the 4th Judicial District Probation Department, referred to herein as “the Judicial Department”, issues this Request for Qualification for the purpose of obtaining mental health screening evaluations for offenders as part of a presentence process or for offenders that are being supervised by the 4th Judicial Probation Department.  Proper identification of mental illness during early stages of the criminal case is essential in addressing a probation offender’s mental health and substance abuse needs. The desire for further assessment may be the result of a probation officer’s use of the Colorado Criminal Justice Mental Health Screen-Adult (CCJMHS-Adult) or as a result of a Court order.  A more detailed background and a scope of work is posted in “Exhibit A” of the draft contractor agreement set forth in Section 6.
