20011 - Mental Health Evaluation Services

The State of Colorado Judicial Department, by and through the 2nd Adult Judicial District Probation Department, referred to herein as “the Judicial Department”, issues this Request for Qualification for the purpose of obtaining mental health screening evaluations for offenders as part of a pre-sentence process or for offenders that as part of a pre-sentence report or are being supervised by the 2nd Adult Judicial Probation Department.  Proper identification of mental illness during early stages of the criminal case is essential in addressing a probation offender’s mental health and substance abuse needs. The desire for further assessment may be the result of a probation officer’s use of the Colorado Criminal Justice Mental Health Screen-Adult (CCJMHS-Adult) or as a result of a Court order. Services are primarily for the 2nd Adult Judicial District, but the Judicial Department also seeks additional providers for other Districts within the State of Colorado Judicial Districts (hereinafter the “Courts” or the “District”).
