P20-01 - Larimer County - Second Opinion Medical Services

Larimer County intends to enter into an agreement with one (1) qualified Contractor to provide health care navigation services (Medical Care Guidance) for employees covered under Larimer County’s self-insured Medical Plan.  We are looking for a company to help provide participant access to medical opinions, treatment alternatives, and provider quality.  Larimer County is seeking cost saving benefits by avoiding unnecessary procedures for employees covered under the County Medical Plan. As the program demonstrates effectiveness, the County may choose to have certain surgeries identified and have financial incentives assigned to encourage engagement with the “Medical Care Guidance” program.
