B18-12 - Larimer County Replacement of Bridge #LR19E-0.5-20 Over the Big Thompson River

 The Board of Larimer County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids at the office of the Purchasing Director, 200 W. Oak Street, Suite 4000, Fort Collins, Colorado, 80521, up to 2:00 P.M. (our clock), on Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
 
The work consists of replacing an existing 156-foot long 2-span prestressed concrete box girder bridge over the Big Thompson River on County Road 19E (Namaqua Avenue) just south of US34 in Loveland. The work involves earthwork, asphalt paving, steel piling, drilled caissons, encasement of an existing waterline, structural concrete, guardrail, prestressed concrete box girders, riprap, and river restoration work. A 14-ft wide benched bike trail will also be constructed under the proposed structure.
