Description

Project consists of providing an irrigation system design, details and specifications suitable for Thornton bidding, contract award and construction for the 37 acre Woodglen Brookshire Park to replace the aged and inefficient existing system:

The new irrigation system will be a 2-wire irrigation design that continues to isolate the two (2) sides of the park. The Woodglen side of the park is 21.8 acres, located at 11551 Madison Street. The Brookshire side of the park is 15.2 acres, located at 11730 St. Paul Street.
The park is irrigated with non-potable water and, as needed, back-up city potable water. The existing non-potable pump station does not need replacement or renovation.

Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the proposing firm’s name and address and “Woodglen Brookshire Park Irrigation Rehabilitation, Project No. 17-442E” Proposals delivered by mail or courier service shall be in the sealed envelope inserted into a separate mailing envelope. On the outside of the mailing envelope note “Proposal Enclosed, Woodglen Brookshire Park Irrigation Rehabilitation, Project No. 17-442E”.
