Removal of Idylwilde Hydro pipeline through National Forest land and city property. Some of the pipeline is exposed and on the ground, some is buried, and some is carried overland on trestles. Removal of steel pipeline segments, trestles, and other miscellaneous associated features, including minor grading and site restoration work. Fill one downhill segment of pipeline with flow fill. Other buried pipeline will be plugged and abandoned in place.

Pre-bid conference is not mandatory, however the site visit on May 30th will be mandatory. No bids will be accepted from bidders who do not attend the site visit.

The site visit will begin at 9am May 30th at the Round Mountain Trailhead parking area just upstream of Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park. Please only have one vehicle per group as parking is limited. Four-wheel drive vehicles are preferred. Be aware that the road is narrow in areas and there may be brush that can scratch vehicle paint (lightly). You will need to allow ½ hour travel time from the western edge of Highway 34 in Loveland.
