The State of Colorado, Institution of Colorado State University (CSU), is soliciting the submittal of interest from qualified Design/Build (D/B) Firms and/or General Contractors. CSU intends to utilize a Design/Build Lump Sum Target Cost Based (DBLS) project delivery method pending interest from local D/B Firms. If adequate interest is not received CSU will consider utilizing a more traditional Design/Bid/Build project delivery method.
CSU intends to execute the demolition and disposal of the existing Utility Storage Building 4603 (approximately 3,000 gsf) located on the project site. Following demolition construction of a new collaborative facility (approximately 7,000 gsf) will take place. This facility is expected to house offices, meeting and educational spaces for the Agricultural Experiment Station, Veterinary Diagnostic Lab and Otero County Extension programs. This facility will increase CSU's presence in Eastern Colorado, outreach capabilities and create a campus environment.
