GordonDr2019 - GORDON DRIVE IMPROVEMENT

SCOPE: The work to be performed under this contract generally includes: full depth reconstruction and
reclamation of asphalt pavement; milling of existing asphalt pavement; various thickness of asphalt paving;
removal and replacement of existing concrete including crosspan, sidewalk, curb and gutter, curb ramps;
installation of 18” to 66” reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer, manholes, inlets, concrete intake structure, and
grouted boulder outlet structure; replacement of 8” water line and related appurtenances; and replacement of 8”
sanitary sewer and related appurtenances.
Work items are to be completed in accordance with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Standard
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Town of Castle Rock (Town) Construction Methodology &
Materials Manual, and all other applicable Town standards and details. The Contractor shall supply all labor,
materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications.
Contractor shall verify actual field conditions prior to construction. It is strongly recommended that the prospective
bidders investigate the site of work sufficiently to satisfy themselves of the extent and conditions of the project.
Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with adjacent property owners, trash removal
companies, school district and other Town maintenance projects if applicable.
