Description

The City is seeking proposals for an experienced electrical contractor to primarily perform overhead to underground service entrance conversions and installation of new services for the Water and Power Department Electric Utility.

The contractor shall provide electrical services to the City which primarily include overhead to underground service entrance conversions and installation of new services. Contractor shall provide engineering when required. All work must be installed in accordance with the currently adopted version of the National Electric Code (NEC) and the City of Loveland Requirements for Electric Service.

Proposals must be received electronically at bids@cityofloveland.org on or before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 as noted by the electronic stamp on the message. The proposal subject line must be clearly labeled "Electrical Contractor Services". Within the body of the electronic submission please also list the company’s name and address.

The electronic date and time on the email will determine if the proposal was received before the prescribed time. Please put the name of the RFP in the subject line of the email and name the attached proposal: Name of RFP-company name. Any proposal arriving after the deadline will not be considered. Responsibility for timely submittal and routing of proposals prior to recording lies solely with the proposer. Please be aware that the City internal email server scans all emails with attachments and delays the receipt of those emails by up to 4 minutes so plan your time of submittal accordingly.
