The existing Fountain Creek Nature Center was constructed in 1992 and expanded significantly in 2014. The County and Friends have raised funds for a cultural history exhibit depicting human history along Fountain Creek. The County is seeking a contractor to provide a final design of exhibit, costs for fabrication/installation and then conduct fabrication/installation.
The El Paso County Community Services, Recreation and Cultural Services Division is seeking a qualified, experienced Contractor to provide services related to the conceptual designs, exhibit fabrication, and exhibit installation a the Fountain Creek Nature Center for a cultural history exhibit to be titled, “Fountain Creek is the Pathway of History.” All phases shall be developed and refined in consultation with the Recreation and Cultural Services Division Manager and the Fountain Creek Nature Center Supervisor. No work will commence without written notice to proceed form the Contracts and Procurement Division. The project budget is being funded through Friends of El Paso County Nature Center-Donations. Contractor proposals shall include all labor, materials, equipment, parts and other items necessary to perform all work called for in the specifications.
